We will introduce you to our mission and history with wolves and other exotic animals. Come enjoy Max and Kakoa, leash free, in their new 1/4 acre enclosure. Old-growth trees tower overhead; the wolf dogs will lead you around their new open run, while our guide talks about wolves' habitat, behavior, & the myths and misconceptions surrounding this apex predator. Our new photo area will allow us to pause for photos and rest with the wolves. When we return to the refuge, you will see a few more beautiful animals, including sloths, cougars, foxes, and more! Ashley started with Predators of the Heart in 1998. Traveling with her father Dave from age 12 to 17. She had to switch to booking all of his programs from 17-29 years old. Ashley arranged accommodations, pricing, made cold calls to schools, churches and fairs, handled all correspondence only being able to travel on occasion. She got married at 20 years old, Ashley and her husband Aaron donated countless hours helping build enclosures, bottle feeding wolf pups, feed animals while Dave was on the road she helped in raising and caring for many animals. But her passion is having the opportunity to teach hundreds of people about how every animals plays a vital role in the web of life.

Not only do you get to see wildlife without upsetting them, you have zero bad feelings giving this organization money. So often at zoos or etc I feel guilty supporting animal exploitation, but at POTH every animal is treated responsibly and with respect and care. They are not for profit, proceeds help the animals that cannot be released. Thank you for what you do for animals POTH team and Ashley!

Everyone should have an opportunity to visit this place, my boyfriend and I LOVED every minute. It’s a very hands on experience (you are cuddling and loving on wolves ) I also loved how well researched and informative the staff were about each animal and the role they play in the wild. 10/10 would absolutely do it again!!
