What you'll do
On this walking tour we will delve into the old alleyways of London, searching for the hidden history on each corner. Along the way we'll find out what lies beneath our feet, what lurks above us, and the incredible stories associated with London's past. Discover the location of the city's smallest and cutest sculpture, hear about what was discovered when building the Gherkin, search for the Roman building inside a shop, get overwhelmed by the number of dragons staring down at you, find the place where the first coffee was sold in London, stumble across a piece of the original London Bridge and finishing on a high, you'll stand in the remains of one of our most magical hidden gardens. This is one magical walk!
Hi there, I'm Matt, a tour guide lecturer with the best job in the world of guiding people around this amazing city! I am a qualified City of London and City of Westminster guide, and have designed and led tours for the best part of a decade. However, hopefully what makes my tours unique is that each of them focuses on the most unusual aspects of the city, bringing to life old stories, forgotten buildings, lost plans and hidden oddities. So if you're looking for something a bit different to your typical tour of London, join me on one of my walks around London!
