What we’ll do

Starting at sea level, you'll climb 500ft gently to reach spectacular views... Some foraging and learning along the way... Climb to top woodland path - we'll follow up…

The nature of the terrain is very undulating, steep at times and sometimes strenuous, so a good pair of walking boots/shoes with ankle support is advised. Pace - I will keep the pace around 3km/h.

Where you'll be

Lynmouth harbour- here you'll meet at the Rhenish tower and learn of the 17th century smugglers, marine wildlife and try laver (seaweed). Watersmeet - you'll walk past the wooded East Lyn River discovering wildlife, with some spring/summer/autumn foraging and learning, before arriving at Watersmeet House. Cleave to woodland top ascent - from Ash Bridge the path ascends and zig zags to a flat woodland edge. Gentle decent down SW coast path!
