What you'll do
Gain a deeper understanding of Cuba's history and culture in Soroa, an agricultural community 1 hour west of Havana.
The adventure starts with a visit to an organic farm, where you'll learn about cultivation and taste fresh fruits, then ride on horseback to our host’s family home and cook a typical country meal. The next day, we’ll visit old French coffee plantations and cook a meal that was typical for Cuban slaves.
After a trek through the beautiful hills of Soroa, we'll stop for lunch and Cuban rum at our host’s family house before making our way back to Havana.

I have been living in Soroa for more than 25 years, so this place means a lot to me and my family. We think is important to help other people to improve their lives, to promote an authentic and responsible tourism which encourages the progress of the community. We know everybody in our community and we want to show you around and introduce you some of the families in the area, so then you can get a real perspective about daily life in Cuba.
Our goals are to help people to get a deeper understanding of Cuban life, to share our knowledge about farming and countryside traditions, as well as allow our guests to enjoy the most beautiful and authentic things of the life in the countryside.

Where you'll be
We'll head 1 hour west of Havana to Soroa, a small farming town. Located in the Sierra del Rosario Biosphere Reserve, it's known for growing the best coffee in Cuba.
