Jamie and his dog Blisco were exceptionally kind and wonderful companions. On this fun and adventurous, yet not overly challenging, journey, we saw almost all the Lake District landscapes we had hoped to experience. Jamie was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions, even the slightly tricky ones. This was one of the best hiking experiences I have ever had. I hope everyone gets the chance to join this trip and see it for themselves: from ancient woodlands to abandoned quarries, crossing streams, entering open fields, following rivers, and climbing over hills. It was truly a beautiful and unforgettable adventure.

We booked a 5 hour walk with Jamie at the beginning of our stay in the Lake District to help get us oriented and more familiar with the area. Jamie did not disappoint. He is extremely knowledgeable about the flora and fauna, the animals and the history of the area. The views were spectacular! We had a fabulous time and don’t hesitate to recommend him to you
