About your host

I’m Edwin "E.Dubble" Redway, but people call me Chef E Dubble. I was born and raised in South Central, learned to cook here, and trained at Le Cordon Bleu. I currently run Grilled Fraiche restaurant and food truck in Los Angeles. I’ve been featured in major news publications and I’ve catered to celebrities and some of the most celebrated pop culture figures of our time.

About My Friend's House Foundation

My Friend's House Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit human service organization. The mission is to provide life-sustaining staples that include food, clothing, toiletries, and encouragement to the homeless and economically disadvantaged, regardless of race, or religious beliefs. Additional programs encourage clients to become self-sufficient and live healthy lives.
This is a social impact experience where 100% of what you pay for this experience goes to My Friend's House Foundation. .

What we’ll do

We’ll meet at my restaurant in South Central, where I’ll share stories about my neighborhood upbringing, Jamaican roots, and culinary career. We’ll wear aprons and get straight to cooking a California-Caribbean fusion meal. I’ll teach you the ingredients that make up Cali-Caribbean cuisine and demonstrate how to make some of the best meals I’ve invented and cherished with my customers, including…
