What initially seemed promising soon turned sour once we boarded Eduardo’s sailboat. We crammed into a boat that clearly couldn’t comfortably accommodate more than 7-8 guests, leaving 11-12 of us feeling cramped and uncomfortable.
The hygiene on the boat was questionable, and the toilet facilities were far from satisfactory. The food provided was inadequate for the duration of the trip. It took over three hours to reach the Hidden Beach, and the return journey was equally disappointing. We were only given about 15-20 minutes to spend at the beach, and the snorkeling session with a marine biologist didn’t instill much confidence.
To make matters worse, the crew spent most of the trip smoking and drinking at the back of the boat, leaving us without snacks or water. Even the few photos they took of the outing were available for sale at an outrageous price of 1500 pesos, which was excessiv considering what we had already paid and received during the trip.
My advice is shop around.
