Overall, this was a good first-day introduction to Rome and a great way to quickly see many of the major landmarks by e-bike. The guide was knowledgeable, and while we only viewed most sites from the outside, that’s understandable for a bike tour and it worked well as an overview of the city. My main issue was with the planning process—I originally booked the 6-hour tour, but shortly before it started, I was asked to switch to the 3-hour version because I was the only person booked, and when I said I preferred the full tour, I was told it would otherwise be canceled. That felt unfair, especially since the updated start time was only shared in messages and not properly updated in Airbnb, which caused confusion. I also did not appreciate being asked to cancel on my end when the issue was on the host’s side. Good tour overall, but buyers should be aware of the scheduling process. *** If there are not enough other people on the tour- the host may change your agenda or cancel!
