What you'll do
We will start the tour with a 5 minutes walk to the Ibiza District. There we will go to a tapas bar for two glasses of wine and two tapas dishes. The next stop will be at a restaurant for a seating gourmet dinner with three to four glasses of wine. The tour ends with drinks at trendy cocktail bar. You will learn about the different wine regions in Spain and where the food that you are tasting is from. The idea is to show you how Madrileños go out for tapas by going where they go as all stops have a local atmosphere and are quite different from the tourist district. During the experience we will have plenty of opportunities to chat, so I will also make sure to share with you all my personal recommendations to make the most out of your stay in my beloved Madrid.
I'm Enrique, I studied Tour Guiding in San Francisco, California. I have been a foodie all my life. I love tasting new food and wines, wherever I go. I am passionate about showing foreigners how madrileños enjoy eating out and explaining to them where all the great Spanish food and wine come from. I think that gastronomy is an esencial part of any culture and that locals dishes in any country are unmissable.
