Since I was the only one patient at the tasting course, Eva the host, did all the best to meet my demands!!
I learnt all about olives from harvesting to pressuring to get oil. And how the olive oils become extra virgin and not. Eva turned out that she is an expert in olive oils and she could taste all the different flavors and senses a lot of things in one oil! She also told me that she is one of the tasters of olive oils who examines the qualities of oils that have enough quality to become extra virgin or not.
It was so nice of her to teach me many things whenever I ask questions.
I also got to taste different cheese from around Torino.
Tasting olive oils was a great experience for me, to know what is fresh and what is not. Turned out that what we can get in our supermarkets in Japan seems like they are never extra virgin olive oils 😅
It's good to know how olive oils turn out of flavor, Eva also taught me how to use olive oils when that become bad!
