What you'll do
Spend the weekend learning surfing essentials and showing off your newfound skills in Newquay, the United Kingdom’s surf capital.
The course is located on the beach of Newquay, a 1-hour flight from London. We'll spend the first day learning basic surfing terminology and the perfect position to catch waves. In the evening, we'll learn about surf theory while having drinks, then enjoy a night of camping in the wild. Use the 2nd day session to practice at your own pace.

Born in South Africa I've always had a passion for outdoors, sharing experiences with friends and the memories of those times. I've lived and worked all over the world delivering a variety of adventure activity experiences.
Founding and delivering adventure activity experiences through Cornish Wave is a continuous culmination of these skills, experiences and passions gained over the years. I love nothing more than being active around water whether it be rivers, lakes or the ocean.
The variety of ways you can enjoy being in it, on it or simply next to always fills me with excitement.

Where you'll be
We’ll meet at Cornish Wave Surf School in Newquay, the UK’s surf capital, and a 1 hour flight from London. We’ll spend both days at the beach, and camp ovenight in the wild.
