What you'll do

Our 2.5-3 Hour Skyline Walk is a fun & enjoyable way to take in the city's famous buildings, historic sites and associated stories, wildlife, hill side meadows and woods with panoramic views across the city along difficult to find paths and tracks. One of the highlights being the elevated view over the city from Sham castle where we will enjoy a cup of tea whilst talking through city's journey from Neolithic dwelling to Georgian power spa city before its more recent role in World War II. Descending back into the city we follow the cities famous waterways including the Kennet and Avon Canal and River Avon whilst using my local knowledge to see elusive including Peregrine Falcons, Kingfishers, Herons and Kestrels. Walking back into the city along our favourite way to come back into the city centre you'll see Bath Abbey, Pulteney Weir, Pulteney Bridge and Bath Rugby Club from a completely different perspective to most visitors to the city. Throughout the walk we make recommendations on our favourite local cafes, restaurants and pubs that aren't in the tourist guidebooks!
