I had a really nice hike with Leonidas in the Parnithos. On our way Leonidas introduced me to the trees, flowers and animals we met. Yes! We saw super cute turtles and a special species of mouse that live in here;)) The whole tour was very interesting and informative, Leonidas will answer all your questions. You’ll feel safe because he’s a few steps ahead to lead the way and reminds you what’s ahead. Leonidas is also a bee expert and helped me with my curiosity about bee society. I tasted different types of honey he brought and learned a lot from him! I can see that Leonidas is someone who truly loves nature and what he’s doing. I hope you also have a chance to enjoy a tour with him.

I did the hiking with my boyfriend and we were amazed by the Parnitha Mountain. Leonidas was explaining to us everything and was taking care of us constantly, a true professional. The sweetest part was...the honey though! Leonidas and his dad are making the honey and it is much sweeter and thicker than what we usually taste in Austria. We actually liked that much that we asked if we bought one and brought it home. Really worth doing the hiking, you see a totally different side of Athens, not the busy city center we all know.

Whether you are a seasoned hiker or a first-time trekker, Leonidas has an invaluable experience to offer. The honey-hiking at the side of Parnitha was unforgettable and as a beginner, I couldn't have asked for a better guide. His expertise was evident from the start, ensuring I was comfortable throughout the journey. Not only Leonidas was a great guide but he was also a fantastic companion. Additionally, he offered me his own-produced honey and I was blown away by its flavor, which is highly recommended. Overall, my experience with Leonidas was fantastic! The hike with Leonidas was excellent today. It was nice to leave the city and walk through the beautiful national park . Leonidas designed the hike to fit any hiking level. I very much enjoyed his company. He's very nice and knowledgable about the local flora and fauna of the national park. I especially enjoyed the lunch of several varieties of his own honey, bread and tea. If you like to escape the city I would highly recommend you sign up for this hike with leonidas. You won't regret it.

I really enjoyed walking in Parnitha forest with Leonidas. The hike was easy, approx 3h, with beautiful landscapes. We made a break to drink tea and taste his own honey before getting back to the car. I was the only guest and Leonidas not only made me feel safe but also was willing to customise the experience according to my photography needs. In the end there was a nice surprise, a small honey jar as a gift! I strongly suggest booking this fellow if you want to see something else near Athens even if you are travelling alone.
