I began Historic New Orleans Tours in 1995 out of my passion for this city's enchanting history. I've written books and founded a cemetery preservation group. I regularly show travel writers the city and have been featured on the History Channel and many other international travel programs. I and the city's best guides, including scholars, educators, actors and musicians, look forward to sharing the city we love with you! Rob was knowledgeable and an excellent storyteller. We had the perfect size group - not too large. Learned so much about the culture and practices of New Orleans. Interesting facts about the grave and funeral practices of NOLA. He also covered Voodoo history as well as current practices. Thank you Rob!!

This tour was good and Ms. Gwen was very knowledgable. She is a bit soft spoken, so it was very hard to hear everything she said. My boyfriend is hearing impaired and he missed out on MOST of the tour due to that, so that was a bit disappointing. The graveyards are INCREDIBLY crowded, so be aware that you most likely won't see everything. Otherwise the tour was very informative and enjoyable.
