Learn how to play Jeu de boules in de hart of the city!!

We'll take you to the historic and luscious Jonas Daniël Meijer square. We will teach you the rules of the game and you will enjoy the jeu de boules with typical Dutch drinks and bites. Meanwhile we will talk about the history of the area and the Plantage way-of-living.

We are Sara en Petra, both happily living in the Plantage area with our families for a decade. Sara is architect and city guide, Petra is event manager and successful host at Airbnb for several years. Petra's French family roots inspired us to organise jeu de boules events in our neighbourhood. Now we like to share that with you!

Where you'll be

We will play on the Jonas Daniël Meijer square, next to Waterlooplein, in the heart of the city. There a lots of stories to tell about the area. While playing jeu de boules, we will share them with you.

Cancellation policy

Any experience can be cancelled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 7 days before the experience starts.

Government ID

You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.

Guest requirements

Up to 10 guests ages 8 and up can attend. Parents may also bring children under 2 years of age.

Jeu de boules is fun to play for everybody! Families, groups of friends, kids and elderly are all welcome.
Wear comfortable shoes and depending on the weather a raincoat or sunscreen.
