My partner and I did the night hike and it was a wonderful experience. It was our first time snowshoeing and we were a little nervous hiking at night, but our guide Pauly made us feel at ease. Before we started to hike, he set us up with the snowshoes, headlamps, and trekking poles. Hiking at night wasn’t bad at all (coming from two people that don’t hike often) and was very well paced. We took plenty of breaks to catch our breath and learn about constellations and the ecology of Tahoe. Pauly was patient, easygoing, and extremely educated about the area. We enjoyed it so much—we wanted to go snowshoeing again! This was the highlight of our trip in Tahoe.
