What you'll do

After pick up from your accommodation, we will drive on the road frequently visited by reindeer to the canyon that is in the middle of the wilderness. There is even no mobile network coverage in many spots. We will walk through beautiful Finnish winter forest on the old logging road towards the bottom of the canyon to see the frozen waterfalls. There will be a chance to climb to the waterfalls and touch the ice or hide in a cave formed by ice (subject to conditions on the spot). This is not offered by any other tours! At the end of our hike, just before we leave the canyon, we will make a campfire and prepare traditional Finnish sausages. We will also enjoy a blueberry juice. We may see reindeer and other wildlife on our way. In the end, you will be taken back to your accommodation.

Karol

I visited the place multiple times in different seasons. I did both one day hikes, but also spend couple of days hiking and sleeping in the canyon. I know all the most scenic places and best spots to make open fire to prepare food. I spent lots of time in the wilderness and close to nature. I hiked or skied all across Lapland. It is my pleasure to show you the most beautiful spots in the area, take you to the wilderness and make sure that you will experience the real Lapland adventure.

Where you'll be

We hike to the deepest canyon in Finland (up to 130 m), home to brown bears and reindeer. In addition to the spectacular frozen waterfalls that are our main objective, the place offers great opportunities for hiking, watching the nature and animals such as reindeer, fishing and reviewing the cultural history of usage of nature at the area.
