This tour was great at showing many sites in Paris over several hours, giving the attendees great photo ops. The tour relied heavily on the Metro, which isn’t all that user friendly for travellers, and we were a group of 14 who had issues. It would have been nice to hear some additional personal stories about the sites too. Overall, this tour is great value to take photos at the major tourist sites in Paris.

Our host was very sweet and friendly&we genuinely enjoyed her company. However, the tour did not feel like a professional guided experience. The information provided was very basic ,many of our questions about the sites could not be answered. While she was clearly trying her best, it def felt more like a part-time gig than a tour led by a knowledgeable and passionate local guide.Having taken guided tours in many cities around the world, we have experienced guides who bring their city’s history and culture to life. Unfortunately, this tour fell short and felt like something we could have easily done ourselves using free online resources.The biggest disappointment was that our Tuesday evening tour was supposed to end at the Louvre, yet neither the host nor the tour operator seemed aware that the Louvre is closed on Tuesdays. When we arrived, there was confusion why it was closedwe ultimately had to check online ourselves. For a tour company, this was a surprising & unacceptable oversight

Our guide Mark did a wonderful job of explaining all the sights along the tour. He kept our group together and on track but not rushed. One of our group members couldn’t navigate some rather steep stairs, so Mark improvised and took a detour describing the side route like it was just part of the tour. Witty, intelligent, well-versed in local history, Mark is a natural in this setting. I had one full day in Paris and I feel like this tour took me to everything I wanted see in 5 hours with personality. Bravo Mark!
