What you'll do

Stand up paddle at a calm beach with penguins!

I am raconteur and will tell you my stories of the ocean and life lessons related to it. Then we will do a brief SUP (stand up paddle board) lesson before taking you out into a scenic bay, shared by penguins.
We adhere to the Animal Welfare guidelines at all times and never pet, feed, or touch these protected animals, keeping a safe distance from them. After respectfully enjoying the water with these beautiful creatures we will have healthy refreshments and snacks on a lovely secluded beach, after which you are free to continue enjoying the beach and water on your own.

Should the weather not be favourable, we will go on canoes, or we will go to a world famous beach where we can still interact with the penguins, instead of a picnic we will have a cultural experience at a very interesting museum or hunt for gemstones at Mineral world.

Should I be unable to host my charismatic brother Craig will host a great experience too.

I grew up in Cape Town where I learnt to swim at the same time as learning to walk. I then got into surfing, stand up paddle, scuba diving and waterskiing, so I prefer being in water than on land.

I loved this experience, there were so many penguins! Beau was a great guide and a great sport about documenting the experience with many photos and videos. I learned a lot from him not just about penguins but also SA’s history and culture. I expected the tour to be in large group of us following the guide and snapping pics of the penguins. Instead, it was a very personalized experience with barely ANYBODY else on the water. I was traveling alone so this was the perfect way to start my stay in a Cape Town...highly recommend :)
