I run Vietcetera Cafe which has quickly established a reputation for quality + consistency in Saigon's third wave scene. We also have a lifestyle magazine where we discuss themes about the new Vietnam. The team behind the cafe is amazing and very knowledgeable about everything coffee (and also tea).

We also offer an airbnb accommodation on top of our flagship cafe location - find us under Sunday Studios.

Where you'll be

Vietcetera Cafe, a modern and experimental third wave cafe, then immediately head over to a traditional egg coffee shop and then a popular woodneck coffee shop. Then over to one of Saigon's new edgy roasters which houses a lot of knowledge about local beans, sourcing and everything in between (along with locally made chocolates). We'll finish the experience back at Vietcetera Cafe.

To all coffee lovers, this tour will not disappoint. Trang our guide is extraordinarily passionate about coffee. I am grateful that Trang was knowledgeable in all aspects of the coffee trade and, she answered any questions we had about how different types of coffee is prepared and also the history about the trade in Vietnam. Overall, the experience is accurate and you will explore coffee from local street to new boutique cafes.

Great (and very filling) coffee experience!! Jason, Tam’s co-host who’s a lead barista at Vietcetera cafe, is very knowledgeable about coffee and ensured that I understood the various types of coffees - from traditional to modern ones. Definitely go for it if you’re a coffeeholic!

Excellent coffee experience with our guide and Barista Trang. She was knowledgeable and passionate about good coffee and took us to so many places that we would never have been able to find by ourselves. Highly recommended for anyone who is into coffee, or even just for a different experience. Great way to see a bit of the Ho Chi Minh City while learning about the local culture and way of life. 5 stars, highly recommended.
