The trip was a great value for the price. My only complaint was that we were told we would be picked up t 6:25 am and they came at 5:45 am. Outside of that, it was great. We had a bit of a ride to the location. We had to sign in and ad our weights in the log book. After that we were greeted with delicious Berber tea and cookies. Shortly, after we took a van to the balloons. The ride was great. There were breathtaking views of the mountains and the other balloons in the sky. There was a drone recording footage which was available for purchase at the end. After the balloon ride, we went back to the camp and were served a Berber breakfast. Great experience!

Truly an experience I am glad to have signed up for despite its few flaws. I mean when will you ever ride across the Sahara desert and stay at a legitimate tent in the middle of the desert? Timely stops this tour makes allows the long ride to the desert to be bearable. Because your bus group tends to stay the same throughout the whole 3-day tour, you really are put in a situation that benefits from socializing. I’ve met some great folks through this trip, and it made the experience much more enjoyable. You get what you put in.
I am giving 5 stars, but some things you may want to consider is that - the pricing for this tour seems to be wildly different depending on where you book it, which leaves a sour taste if you were to find out you are paying more than others for nearly the identical experience. I recommend not asking around if you want to stay in good vibes.
Additionally, the bus rides are technically air-conditioned, but it was still nearly unbearably hot that lasted hours at a time between breaks.
Both the hotels and the tent I stayed at were again unbelievably hot - I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised by it. I mean it’s Morocco. Hotel really lacked the amenities, but the desert tent was beautiful. It had a legitimate shower/toilet, who would’ve thought?
