What you'll do
We’ll walk the corridors of two different markets, listening to the legends and stories of each. We’ll have the opportunity to buy fresh, local products that you can enjoy during the visit or take back home with you. And with the merchant's permission, we'll take photos that will later bring you amazing memories of this magical place. In the last market, we’ll take some time to explore what's on offer and sit down to eat and relax a bit. As a plus, we’ll travel by subway because is the fastest and popular transport in my city, so I can introduce you to some of wall paintings that decorate the metro stations.
My passion is food and sustainability. I am a writer and cultural journalist, author of the book "Con el corazón a pie" where I share the stories of unknown people and places of Mexico City. Now I am very focused in social impact and sustainable food, I am volunteer of slow food Mexico and La Tablée des Chefs Mexico, two non profit organizations who works in food sustainability and gastronomic culture.
Snacks and fruit I’ll buy some traditional snacks and fresh fruit at the market, which we’ll share.
