What you'll do

No matter where you are in the world, no matter how old you are, or what you do for a living – if there is one thing that definitely matters to everyone, it is food.

Our favourite Bollywood stars are no different. Some of the movie industry’s brightest stars are major ‘foodies’. While they may have strict diet regimes for times when they are shooting or when they are working out to get into the skin of a certain character, they all have their favourite ‘cheat meals’ they like to indulge in on their days off.

I will begin the session with a brief introduction of myself and subsequently take guests through my culinary journey over the last three decades.

Through this Experience, I will teach my guests how to cook some of the dishes relished by their favourite Bollywood stars on their cheat days. Together we will decode the favourite dishes of stars such as Malaika Arora and Farhan Akhtar and whip up a storm using ingredients that are readily available in the market.

Through the hour, I will cook along with my guests and share fun, little known ‘food secrets’ from my experience as a chef to the stars. Guests can also ask questions they may have throughout the session about my culinary experience, celebrity meals or anything else.

Details:
Aug 16, Non-Veg Class – Mom's Mutton Curry with Bhuggal Chawal

Even as a child, my love for food took me into corners of my home where children rarely ventured, like the kitchen! After completing my graduation from the Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai, I gained a royal appointment aboard the Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2), where I was engaged in global culinary traditions.
One of the standout moments of my career was when I had the opportunity to be the Personal Chef to Mr. Nelson Mandela. I have also taught a team of 180 chefs at the White Star Chef’s Training School.
In 2015, I was voted Chef of the Year in India at the Indian Restaurant Awards with the opportunity to host many popular television shows and write a book called Vicky Goes Veg.
Currently, I am conceptualizing on restaurant menus and food concepts for several places and have started a healthy food start-up "Hello Green" in Mumbai.

The cook along with Chef Vicky Ratnani was very personalised and his guidance and patience underscored the entire experience. He was open to queries and conversations with him flowed effortlessly. We even went beyond the stipulated hour! Great time, great company, and fabulous food was cooked!

Great experience, the ingredients were super easy to find in the local market, the mutton curry tasted amazing. The Bhuggal chawal was great as well. Definitely recommend this experience to everyone. The way Vicky represented the experience was great as well. The curry is my next Non-veg preference for sure.
