What you'll do

Trek Manquehue hill and enjoy the best views of Santiago surrounded by nature. I will pick you by vehicle at our meeting point (Metro Estación Baquedano) and we will go to Cerro Manquehue. Upon arrival, we will make a brief description of the place and the route we will take and the care and rules to be met in our ascent to the summit. We will also distribute the staffs we will carry, such as walking sticks, water and snacks. Then we will start the trekking to the summit, which depending on your physical condition, will take between 1.30 hrs. and 2.30 hrs. In this ascent we will see the flora and fauna of the place. Once at the summit you can have wonderful panoramic views of the city and the Andes Mountains and if we are lucky we will witness the flight of condors. After the corresponding photographs we will begin the return, later I will leave you to our initial meeting point. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT BEFORE BOOKING. THE TREKKING UP TO THIS SUMMIT IS APPROXIMATELY 45 MINUTES AND THE VIEW IS EQUALLY BEAUTIFUL.

I am passionate about mountains and nature. 8 years ago I started the mountaineering practice and every time the addiction is bigger. With my mountain group we have already reached several summits, some over 6,000 meters and some long-term trekking as is the southernmost trekking in the world in Cabo de Hornos, Chilean Patagonia. The knowledge and experience that I have gained in all this time will give us great security in the route we take.

Cerro Manquehue has a height of 1,635 meters above sea level. Manquehue means "place of condors", in Mapudungun (manque = condor, hue = place). The Manquehue is an important landmark of the city, you can take innumerable panoramic photographs of the city, which can be seen in 360 °. In addition we can obtain beautiful postcards of the Andes Mountains.
