This walk is not suitable for children. I have tried taking kids, but the distance is too long for them, and they get bored. Since we want to observe wildlife, this walk is not suitable for dogs.

Suggest bringing a hat, water bottle and sunscreen.

Where you'll be

On this walking tour you will have a chance to visit a hidden gem -- one of the wildest natural areas in the heart of Toronto. The walk ends with a tour of the restored wetlands at The Brick Works, which is a showcase for sustainable development. There is a restaurant at the Brick Works where you can buy a hot drink and freshly baked snacks. Or you can have a gourmet lunch.
