What you'll do
We'll walk around the neighborhood of Trastevere as I give you a tutorial on the basics of photography, both digital and analog. Away from the crowds and the over-photographed touristic spots, I'll show you hidden gems and paths while introducing you to the local Roman community! I'll give you photo tips along the way so you can make the most out of your camera. We'll review the photos over an espresso at my favorite cafe and I will tell you some easy ways to post-edit your shots in order to make them even better!
Born in Athens and based in Rome, I'm a professional photographer and frequent traveller. I specialize in portrait, music, and architecture/interior photography. I launched #InsidersLens experience in 2017 and it soon became a point of reference for photography classes in Rome for its original itinerary and teaching approach.
Refreshments Coffee or tea.
Instant image You'll take home one Polaroid/Instax image!

Where you'll be
We'll meet at the Piazza di San Cosimato and then we go up the cobblestone alleys to San Pietro in Montorio. After that we head to the Fontana dell'Acqua Paola, enjoy the view from Gianicolo hill, and then head down to Santa Maria di Trastevere. We'll end our walk at my favorite cafe. Update June 2019: Fontana dell'Acqua Paola is under maintenance so it will be harder to photograph.
