About Hope With Love

HopeOneSource's mission is to increase access to services for vulnerable populations. We are a social non-profit movement for good, free of discrimination, that is rooted in people and technology. Since September 2015, our technology in DC, backed by committed volunteers, has connected 1K+ people at-risk and experiencing homelessness to the services needed to maintain and obtain stable housing.
This is a social impact experience where 100% of what you pay for this experience goes to Hope With Love. .

You will embrace both the immense power and the powerlessness that lies within the United States' capital city, Washington, DC, in one truly rewarding and non-partisan day. You will take a guided tour of the memorials that recognize America's most impactful social Change Makers, and learn from local Change Makers about some of the biggest social injustices occurring today that often overlap --…

What I’ll provide

Drinks
1 beverage of choice Alcohol from the Happy Hour menu will be provided at the end of the experience for those ages 21 and up at a nearby pub.
Transportation
During experience only Expect to walk 2-3 miles. Trans will be provided if the outreach location that day is not within a walkable distance.
Equipment
Technology to assist Tool provided that helps connect DC's most vulnerable residents to the housing, career, and social services they need.

What to bring

Camera, Sunscreen, Walking shoes, Cell phone or Tablet (but not required).

You'll learn about Change Makers in DC's history, some well known, and some not so much, while receiving a guided tour of these two famous memorials that include: 1.) Lincoln Memorial - Emancipation 2.) MLK Memorial - Civil Rights
