What you'll do
During this 2.5-hour workshop you’ll learn how to temper chocolate and, from it, craft 2 types of Belgian chocolates. Pralines: The most famous Belgian chocolate, consisting of a delicate chocolate shell with a creamy filing. You’ll learn how to make both the shell and the filling from scratch! Mendiants: Chocolate discs studded with dried fruits. Crispy and delicious! You’ll make at least 30 chocolates, which you can either eat on the spot or take home to family and friends. With our easy technique and chocolate theory, you’ll be able to make your own chocolates once you return home! NOTE: we take up to 21 participants per workshop due to the popularity of this activity. Further I took some chocolate masterclass and created the new Belgian Chocolate Workshop class. You will learn in 2.5h what chocolate makers usually do in 2 days!! You will then be able to take your very own chocolates home, which is amazing! This class has been so successful that I am now working on new experiences in Brussels indoor and outdoor ;-)

Where you'll be
The activity takes place at our private workshop, located 10min walking from Grand Place and 10mins walk from Midi International Train station. That's an old bar & building we fully equipped and renovated to today's standard.

We take up to 20-25 participants per session, not 10 as shown on the page. No spectators nor kids under 12 allowed. Suitable for vegetarians. Vegan workshops are available upon request.
