About your host

I am a professional dance teacher as well as a lover of the Paris of the 1920s and 30s. I'll share my passion for this fun dance with you. What we’ll do

We'll jump into the era of "les Années Folles"—the Roaring Twenties—where you'll learn the basics of the Charleston. That will eventually lead us to a fun choreography towards the end of the session. To spice up your closet with some Parisian vintage clothes, you'll have the opportunity to pop into a superb vintage shop just next door.

What else you should know

As dancing is a sweaty business, be sure to have a bottle of water with you as well as a shirt to change into. I suggest that you wear comfortable clothes and shoes—preferably flat ones.

Where you'll be

This experience will take place in a stunning, huge open space, built in 1874, which is now home to artists (actors, dancers, jugglers, and acrobats) who wish to practice their skills without bothering their neighbors. There are two stylish cafes on site as well as a vintage shop.
