What you'll do
We'll explore Roncesvalles, or Roncey for short, a local neighborhood in the west end of Toronto, unique because of its village vibe. It has numerous small, independent stores and restaurants that are popular among the locals, but, above all, it is a foodie haven. As we explore the neighborhood, I will take you to five distinct food stores and restaurants, where you'll learn a bit of each locale's history that not many know about. At each stop, you'll be treated to two to four food samples prepared just for you. These aren't places that pop up on trending lists—these are the hidden gems known and beloved by locals and Toronto foodies alike.
I've been immersed in the food industry for many years. I got into it working as a waitress and learned that eating is enhanced by your environment and the people around you. My love for food intensified further when I gallivanted around the world for a few years and then embarked on a career as a food PR specialist. For me, food equals happiness.
Food samples at all stops I can accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions.
