You are invited to join us on a meander through the early history of Cape Town as we explore the archaeological ruins of a VOC Fort that was buried for 140 years. We'll time travel below sea level on the original shoreline to the 18th century, where you will discover the battle for the high seas and what life was like for the soldiers, sailors, and explorers. Bring your curiosity and a camera. I will be dressed in period costume and you are welcome to wear an 18th-century tricorne hat to get in the mood and to take photos of yourself with the cannons.
