What you'll do
Learn how to make world class cocktails from the comfort of your own home!
I'll be teaching you all about cocktails; the history, techniques, tools, recipes and more while we make two different cocktails along the way. Be sure to bring your notepad as I have lots of information to share!
We'll start by discussing the main techniques used in making cocktails: stirring, shaking and built cocktails and when to use them, followed by an introduction to cocktail tools. From there, we'll make our first cocktail and I'll teach you the history of cocktails and their modern renaissance, while you sip your first drink.
I will also discuss some staple ingredients and spirits, some awesome ingredients you can make at home such as flavored syrups, a brief explanation of how ice affects cocktails, the major families of cocktails and more, all with some fun stories thrown in.
We'll wrap up with a little more in-depth information before allowing an open period of discussion.
As mentioned, I've taught everyone from absolute beginners to world class bartenders on various aspects of this seminar so please reach out beforehand and we can tailor the seminar to your knowledge level!
*Please note - the seminar booking is by the number of people, not devices.*

Cole is an excellent host! This class was so much fun and educational. We were able to customize our menu and had a non alcoholic drink too. Cole did an excellent job answering our questions. He is funny and does well interacting with the participants. We definitely will do this class again.

Cole's class was super informative and fun! We did this class for a 21st birthday with our daughter and her boyfriend and our son (all young adults) to introduce them to craft cocktails. This class opened their eyes to cocktail making and the history too (very cool). It also introduced them to the fundamentals of drinks (the 5-6 categories and the basics to constructing a cocktail from technique and tools to ingredients). They've seen me make (and drink) a Manhattan, but now really understand what it is and why it is so good! Cole is easy going and fun and shares a wealth of knowledge - which includes his breadth of knowledge and experience with bitters and ingredients that make a drink unique. It was great to bring the bar and bartender to our home since we can't take our 21 year olds out yet to the bars! Thank you for the fabulous night Cole!

This was a super cool way for a bunch of friends to share an experience together without actually being in the same space. Really cool history on cocktail making and drinks were super straight forward and easy to tweak to our liking. Highly recommend!
