What you'll do
Yeonhui-dong is a residential neighborhood. It offers gated houses, diverse restaurants, a mountain, and a sprinkle of shopping. I'll take you all around the celebrities neighborhood to enjoy the arts, culture, and maybe some light snacks. We'll return to my studio and I will teach you the basics of ceramics. You'll then be able to make your own pottery in my studio for the next two hours. When you're finished, you'll have to choose between the following options: either wait two to six weeks to receive your pottery at your home, or leave your work for the next Airbnb guests and take home a piece made by a former guest. I'll support whatever you decide.

Where you'll be
You'll visit my ceramic studio in Yeonhui-dong, Seoul, which is near both Hongik University Station and Sinchon Station. Low-rise houses, mostly two-story buildings with spacious front yards built in the 1970s. It's an area that attracts many young people and we'll most likely stay in the Yeonhui-dong neighborhood. (Note that two former South Korean presidents: Chun Doo-hwan and Roh Tae-woo and famous artists and creators live in this area.)

You don't have to prepare anything for this experience, but long nails might cause accidental gouges in the piece you'll be working on. Also, it's always good to be on time.
