What we’ll do

We will meet at The Museum of Floral Culture, where I am the founder and director. A brief tour of the museum will provide you with the basic understanding of the Thai floral culture. You will learn about its philosophy, the climatic contributions and the foreign influences. You will learn about the different forms and techniques of the art with the flower symbolism that conveys positive/negative…

Please bring your own shorts as undergarments when you learn how to wear a red Jongkrabaen. *Please note that the proceeds from this experience support the operation of The Museum of Floral Culture.

What I’ll provide

Snacks and Other
Three dishes set lunch. Tea and Thai desserts. Foods are homemade with old Bangkok recipe which follows by fruits with flower tea. Some dishes have flower ingredient. . Flower tea with a few pieces of Thai dessert served during the flower workshop.
Drinks
Welcoming drinks Refreshing honey lime soda with blue 'anchan' flower (Butterfly Pea Flower)
Equipment
Flowers and materials. Fresh flowers and container are for you to take home. Equipments like scissors, knife and etc. will be on loan.

Where you'll be

Featuring in Eyewitness Travel TOP 10 BANGKOK 'Off the Beaten Path,' The Museum of Floral Culture is the first and only of its kind in the world, located in Dusit district, Bangkok old town, away from the hustle and bustle of the capital. A hidden gem of Bangkok, the museum is a rare 100-year-old teak mansion surrounded by lush exotic tropical garden. The workshop will be held in a traditional Thai pavilion situated in the garden of the museum.
