This is an open level, beginners-friendly Cuban music and dance class. Come to experience a taste of Havana’s rich cultural heritage in the heart of Brooklyn. I will welcome you with my signature cafecito cubano, while I briefly introduce the context and origins of the material we’ll be working on. This is a shoes-off space. Be aware that you’ll be asked to take off your shoes before entering the room. You can still wear socks or stay barefoot, if preferred.

Where you'll be

I’ll conduct the class in my home studio, a mid-size space that I love because its cozy vibe sparks in me creative ideas and inspiration. There’s a beautiful upright piano, and various families of ethnic music instruments that I sometimes play with musician, friends or students. This is the perfect place to enjoy the experience.

Communication policy

Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside of the Airbnb website or app.

Guest requirements

Up to 10 guests ages 18 and up can attend.

Government ID

You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.
