About your host

I’m a licensed Japanese chef. I’ve studied Asian dishes for many years, running studios in Southeast Asia and a Japanese cooking studio in Singapore. I’ve been researching South Asian food for over three decades and teaching for over two decades. I would love to pass on my knowledge of Japanese cooking to you.

What we’ll do

I’ll teach you how to make Takoyaki, a popular street food, which is a ball-shaped snack made with flour. In this instance we’ll be filling ours with octopus. I’m a chef and this fun, hands-on class is taught in my own home. You’ll have ample opportunity to ask questions while I teach you all the secrets to making Takoyaki for friends and family when you get home.
