Highly recommend this tour to both locals and visitors. The light snacks along the hike are incredibly special and very emblematic of the tour’s topics!

Nick met us perfectly on time at the Equator cafe and drove us to the trail. He was friendly and a great storyteller from the start. NIck shared his unique and broad knowledge of the areas's foraging possibilities as we hiked amid the gorgeous redwoods, bays, and firs of Mt Tamalpais. His wealth of information on the medicinal and other properties of different plants and mushrooms was fascinating as was his interest in shamanism, the chakras and other world energies he shared with us. A truly wonderful experience!

100% do this! It was an incredible experience! We have no experience hiking beyond general fitness through Orange Theory and Pure Barre. It was challenging but doable, and our guide, Nick, was a true expert in the forest!

Nicki led us through a wonderful outdoor mindfulness practice as part of our team offsite. It's clear that she's not only incredibly knowledgable about the redwoods and surrounding area, but also about a number of mindfulness practices and their crossover with spending in nature. We were thrilled to spend a couple of hours wandering around the forest with her and couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day in early February to be out amongst the trees!
