What you'll do

We will dive right into preparing homemade pita dough from scratch for breaking bread together before the meal. You will learn how to spice different dishes with middle eastern spices such as Zaatar and Sumac. I will be sharing some of my favorite desserts from my grandmas personal recipe book. This we will pair with infused turmeric ginger fresh mint tea, traditionally served in Israel with a Californian twist. You will leave knowing how to prepare a full course meal from Chef Lee Davidson’s heritage recipes, and techniques to be mindful and present during the course of cooking. This event is welcoming LGBTQ + Allies that want to meet others and share a meal together all while feeling safe and accepted.
