What you'll do
I would love to invite you into my home to share with you some of my food, my stories and my culture . Together we will make Irish soda bread, a heart warming soup, a Beef and Guinness casserole and Colcannon . Then when everyone is sitting down to dinner we will have some craic, ( Craic in Ireland means good fun , music and conversation !) After dinner I will show you how to make your own Irish Coffee . I am also a qualified tour guide so I would be happy to give you information and advice on my city so that you get the most and the best out of your stay in Dublin. By the end of the evening you will have made new friends and will have experienced a genuine Irish welcome which I hope will be one of your lasting memories of your time in Ireland. The evening is for over 18's as there is alcohol served but if you have children I can organise a separate evening for you where they can participate and you can enjoy a relaxing evening with your family. For groups of six or more, if you'd like to book a specific date and it's not on my calendar, just drop me a message and I'll see if I can arrange it for you.

Hi ! My name is Ann and I am very proud to say that I come from Dublin. I have worked in the Hospitality and Food sector for more years than I care to think of. Like most of the Irish I have what we call the gift of the gab .. I love to chat with people and that combined with the experience of cooking a meal together and meeting other visitors from all over the world makes this a different type of evening ! It,s not fancy complicated food, I use the best of Irish ingredients and traditional Irish recipes. I will also give you with a recipe book so you can recreate the meal for your friends and family back home ! I am a qualified tour guide too so I am always happy to advise you on where to go and what to do while you are in Ireland. It would be really lovely to meet you and welcome you to my home for a genuine Irish experience.
