What you'll do

We start from Dokk 1, the new multimedia centre of Aarhus that will turn your head upside down! After the introduction to the city and to each other We will walk by the seafront. We will discover the art made by the sea itself, we will hear about the talents of Danish Royal family too.

You will learn about the evil jokes that Aarhus Theatre architect played, you will find out how inspiring the bad night sleep was to the most famous Dane in the world! We walk through the Latin Quarter, discuss how small events sometimes can change history and how Artists use their talents to rewrite it.

We will reach a unique roof that you can walk up to without even entering the building or using any steps! You will have a chance to feel the creative spirit of Aarhus at cultural centre.

Afterwards we will head to the park of City Hall where plenty of art awaits! Through the main walking street we make our way to a spectacular rooftop terrace with Best panoramic view of Aarhus.

At the end of the tour we will indulge in Danish Street Food experience, tasting good old traditional food and new hip dishes. Nice lunch with 2 local dishes and a drink will be provided.

I have always been passionate about Art, i am an Artist myself. I have always dreamt about travelling and after discovering over 60 countries, i fell in love with Denmark. I started blogging about Aarhus as soon as i arrived, then took Guiding courses.
I consider every opportunity to share my love for Aarhus a privilege!
My education reflects Art and Culture interest, my experience includes over 8 years in 5 star airline kitchen.
I know how much it means to meet the right person when you travel, the one who opens up the soul of a new city. We remember people more than places and emotions matter much more than facts. This is why connecting the city guests with the Art they face right on the streets is so much fun. On my tour you will discover the diversity and creative side of Aarhus. Good vibes and plenty of local jokes included!

The tour with Marina was one of the highlights of an already wonderful trip to Denmark. I fell in love with Aarhus - also because of the great, exciting stories that Marina has told. I often travel in cities and have participated in many guided tours - none was as personal and exciting as this one. Nobody should visit Aarhus without visiting one of her tours. She is very inspiring and should be a role model for others. Thank you, Marina!!!

You can't miss Marina's Experience if you come to Aarhus, even if you have been to some tourist spots. Marina has the most amazing stories of the places of Aarhus. and they really bring out the charm of the city! 3 hours flew by with her unique perspective and personal touch on the places little known to tourists. Her food choice is also deeply Danish with consideration of you being a tourist here. Overall the experience has been fun, full of learning and filled with genuine humor. Definite recommend!
