What you'll do

We'll get the train from London to the Box Hill area of the North Downs, which lies within the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Our hike will take us on a circular 6 mile route with a couple of hills. The route includes some of my favourite paths and places to visit, including the Denbies Wine Estate Vinyard where you can buy a glass of wine and lunch.

While there are ineresting places to explore, this isn't a historic tour and I won't be boring you with lectures! There are toilet and food stops along the way.

I work in London and love to escape to the nearby countryside to hike at the weekend. From childhood I have rambled in the North Downs which is very scenic and not far from the city. I enjoy leading groups of friends and am excited to share the experience with others from around the world.

Great. But you should prepare for the muddy trail. But he prepared a lot to stay connected.
