What you'll do

Escape the city with the kids and head to an enchanting park in the center of Florence, the Boboli Gardens, one of the most important examples of a Renaissance garden and one of the greatest open-air museums.
As you wander around the Florentine garden and discover its many species of plants and flowers that will impress the whole family, you'll play games and take part in fun activities. The kids will enjoy the greenery and the fresh air as they learn about the history and how the gardens got to such a grand scale.
Not only, but you'll explore the Buontalenti Grotto, a cave decorated to make you feel like you're in a fairy tale and a true masterpiece of Mannerist architecture, as well as a large amphitheater with an Egyptian obelisk.
Be in awe of the panoramic view over the Florentine countryside that you can admire from the Giardino del Cavaliere.
Take a walk to the gardens of Villa Bardini, through the wisteria tunnel to discover a four hectare forest, characterized by gardens and orchards and surrounded by medieval walls.
This is sure to be the perfect outing, away from the crowds but still in touch with history through nature.
