What you'll do

A day as a true olive farmer during the most important time of the year: the harvest and pressing of the olives!
For the entire year I take care of my olive trees, from pruning to flowering, while waiting for the first fruits to arrive. Now, finally, they’re ready to be picked!
From November until January the doors of my olive grove are open during the most important moment of the year, where I’m going to tell you all the secrets of the harvest and production of my olive oil. You’ll learn to use the “beater” stick to “comb” the branches and let the olives fall, you’ll place the nets and once the crates are full we’ll go together to the mill where in less than an hour the harvested olives will turn into precious extra virgin olive oil.
You’ll have the unique chance to sample the freshly pressed oil and take home a bottle of fresh olive oil.
During a good day’s work, lunch becomes very important, and you’ll be able to live it with us, trying local products, our olives and our fruit jams.

Hi, I’m Andrea and I’m a farmer.
My agricultural enterprise is located in Sanremo, in the Riviera of Flowers; I produce, with the help of my family, olive oil, olives and fruit jams.
I’ll host you in my olive grove placed above the renown village of Apricale, a scenic spot among terraces with secular olive trees and the sea.
I’m specialized in the cultivation of the Taggiasca olive variety, an excellency of my land, appreciated worldwide and endorsed by the greatest chefs who, for their precious recipes, have chosen the delicate flavor of our sun grown olives.
