What you'll do

We’ll begin the day by getting immersed in Thailand’s rich bounty at one of the country’s best-loved national parks: Erawan National Park. Walking trails, running water and undisturbed wildlife characterise this peaceful area. With seven tiers and a set of limestone caves at its base, you’ll forget all about the busy streets of Bangkok. This natural paradise is the perfect place to breathe in the fresh country air before we continue our journey.

We then visit the JEATH Museum, which dedicated to the Allied Prisoners of War who died building the Burmese railway, this museum is a sad yet important reminder of Thailand’s history; it’s thought that over 100,000 lives were lost during this period. JEATH is an anagram for the main nationalities involved in the building of the railway: Japanese, English, Australian, American, Thai and Dutch (Holland).

Finally, we’ll visit the historic Bridge over the River Kwai. We’ll get the chance to walk over the bridge, soak up the impressive scenery and take a moment to soak in the past.

Hello, my name is Nice and I was born and raised in Thailand! One of my passions is to take people around and tell them about my country and culture.
Along with my other tour guide friends, Bonnie (who has a lot of experience showing tourists around), Sam (who is highly knowledgeable about Thailand's history), and Kwan (who knows how to take awesome photos), we want to provide you with an authentic experience that you'll never forget.
While we have partnered with TripGuru, a digital tour operator, our tours are all locally curated by my team, and are authentic and unique. So we invite you to join our tours, see things from our perspective, and allow us to show you our home our way. We look forward to meeting you!

This was a good tour. Meeting was a little confusing but they ended up picking me up from my hotel which was very welcome on my first day in the city not knowing where I was going. Bell my guide had some great information! It was cool to grab some street food on the way (with Bells help I was able to understand what and how much). The WW2 museum was interesting I wish there would have been a little background on the effects WW2 had in Thailand. The waterfall was amazingly beautiful as advertised. All in all this was a good tour.

Our tour guide Bell was very knowledgeable. He explained to us lot of facts about locations and events while also enriching it with personal stories which provided better insight into Thailand and its community. We started with Kanchanaburi War Cemetery, JEATH museum and Bridge over river Kwai which are places with sad, but not to be forgotten history. Erawan waterfalls were beautiful and we even managed to get up to 7th tier which was easily the best one.

We had booked through tanisha, but we ended up meeting Miss.UMA our tour guide who took us for the trip to erawan. All the above experience we shared was for uma. I have one more thing to share, while this trip they take you to the war cemetry and war museum before they take you to erawan waterfalls. I suggest you can avoid that war cemetry trip if you have booked erawan waterfall as you can spend more time at the waterfalls as there are 7 stages of the waterfalls in erawan and going from 4th to 5th and to further up it takes a little time. So if you end up directly to waterfall then you have more time to enjoy there as they shut the erawan national park post 4pm so the quicker you go over there the more time you get to spend there. Also they take deposit of 20 Baths for water bottles which you carry along, if you dont go the stage 2 waterfall before 4pm they close and you loose your money. So best you dont take waterbottle. The waterfall is reall really an amazing experience and its A MUST GO to ERAWAN NATIONAL Park.

Erawan Falls is beautiful and must visit if you are near Bangkok. There is even an option of staying Erawan National Park. The experience was amazing. Before the reaching the Erawan Falls we spent time at the war cemetery and Death Museum and because of this we got very little time to spend at the falls. I would recommend you to spend the entire day at the falls. Our guide Uma was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable :) 5stars to Uma for being a great guide :)
