What you'll do

While you could spend weeks working your way around the Thai capital, we have the perfect solution for those with limited time in the city. During this half-day tour, we’ll stop at the following decadent temple sites and learn the fascinating stories behind them…

Wat Saket: One of the most important religious pilgrimage sights in Thailand is Wat Saket, translating as the Golden Mountain. This hillside temple features a gleaming gold chedi that is thought to contain a relic from the Buddha himself.

Wat Pho: Otherwise known as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, this is one of the largest and most impressive temple sights in Bangkok. We’ll marvel at the 46-metre Buddha statue made entirely of gold leaf before exploring the attractive grounds. An endless sea of mosaic stupas make Wat Pho quite unlike other temples in the capital – little wonder it’s a UNESCO-protected site.

Wat Arun: Named the number 1 landmark in Thailand on TripAdvisor, there’s no excuse for missing Wat Arun. This religious complex, also called the Temple of Dawn, is known for its dreamy white spires that can be seen for miles around.

Hello, my name is Tanicha (you can call me Nice) and I was born and raised in Thailand! One of my passions is to take people around and tell them about my country and culture.
Along with my other tour guide friends, Phu (who has a lot of experience showing tourists around), Sam (who is highly knowledgeable about Thailand's history), and Kwan (who knows how to take awesome photos), we want to provide you with an authentic experience that you'll never forget.
While we have partnered with TripGuru, a digital tour operator, our tours are all locally curated by my team, and are authentic and unique. So we invite you to join our tours, see things from our perspective, and allow us to show you our home our way. We look forward to meeting you!

It was a good experience. Could have been less touristy and better managed. Otherwise the guide tried his best to accommodate all our request.

I would suggest you skip this as it is currently structured - there is nothing about this tour that is “instagram” and it is not really a tour. It is getting picked up in a van with a group and getting dropped at three places. The “guide” waited outside in two locations and only went into wat pho. We waited an hour after the tour in the heat for the return van. We waited in the public long line to the ferry for wat pho - the same line we could have done for 50 baht instead of $150 we spent for 4 of us. We had already visited wat Arun and thankfully with a good guide two days before - I felt badly for the others on our tour who got no explanation no history no picture tops nothing— there are way better tours out there— this was probably the worst tour I have ever taken — so the description should be changed to transport to and from temples and that’s it— and late transport at that. A colossal waste of time

Temples are definitely a photo opportunity, but I would’ve liked it more if the tour guide offered that. This experience was truly an Instagram tour that incorporated a slight variation on Thai culture. Although every experience was rich and authentic, the focus was more on having great photo ops. In a sense, it could’ve gone faster and not as much time was required if were just there to take pictures.
