What you'll do

Rising 2,565m above sea level is Thailand’s highest peak Doi Inthanon (or “Doi In”, for short!). The peak lies to the east of its Himalayan cousins, surrounded by hiking trails, stunning waterfalls, and two monumental stupas dedicated to the king and queen. Perfect for adventurers and culture enthusiasts alike, this tour will take you through picturesque landscapes, remote villages, and incredible viewpoints.

Our first stop is one of the largest and the most beautiful waterfalls in the country, the Wachirathan Waterfall. Then we’ll head to the amazing Sirithan Waterfall. This stunning 50-meter cascade, fed by the Mae Klan River from Doi Inthanon’s peak, is perfectly hidden deep in the pine forest.

Next we’ll stop at the famous twin pagodas: the Napamatanee Don and Napaphon Bhumisiri. After lunch, we’ll burn off all that pad thai with a bit of “mini-hiking” at the Angka Nature Trail. We’ll then visit a Karen Tribe locale where we will learn a bit about the tribes people’s culture and way of life, as we explore their village of Sobhad.

Hello, my name is Nice and I was born and raised in Thailand! One of my passions is to take people around and tell them about my country and culture.
Along with my other tour guide friends, Bonnie (who has a lot of experience showing tourists around), Sam (who is highly knowledgeable about Thailand's history), and Kwan (who knows how to take awesome photos), we want to provide you with an authentic experience that you'll never forget.
While we have partnered with TripGuru, a digital tour operator, our tours are all locally curated by my team, and are authentic and unique. So we invite you to join our tours, see things from our perspective, and allow us to show you our home our way. We look forward to meeting you!

As others have mentioned, Tanicha is not the host but rather a broker for a travel company through TripGuru. We had booked several other tours with this company and each time the communication was quite poor. This company waits until the last minute (~9 PM the night before the experience) to email meeting location -- they do this to maximize any last minute bookers; however, this can make it incredibly challenging to plan travel arrangements. The sites were not very exciting and felt a little touristy. Not sure if I would book this experience again given the chance. Our guide (Nice/Nicey) was extremely welcoming, she was fantastic. Lastly, we were paired with a larger group (9 people total) who were extremely quiet so the long car rides felt a bit awkward.

Nice day tour to Doi Inthanon National Park! Great way to see the top sights in one day. Also, great guide who provided us with a lot of information, which made the tour more informative and interesting. Of note, entry cost to the park and lunch was not included in the tour. Thanks for the tour!

Our guide Nut, from TripGuru was very personable, knowledgeable, and caring. He made our experience very enjoyable and was very patient with a few of us who walked slowly or got sidetracked. He was helpful taking pictures and a happy person to be around. His English was very good. I highly recommend this trip and hope your tour guide is Nut.
