What you'll do

Our journey is unique! You can't do it alone and nobody can offer such an unforgettable experience. Because we are going to relive the unique moments of the Medici family, we will visit their palace where Lorenzo the Magnificent and Michelangelo lived together. Once finished with the palace of the Medici family we would visit San Lorenzo the first florence basilica built in 393. San Lorenzo has two sacristies, the old one was built by Donatello and Brunelleschi who were friends. We will dedicate ourselves to the new sacristy designed by the genius of the Renaissance MICHELANGELO. We will visit the Medici Chapels where the new sacristy is located where Lorenzo the Magnificent and his brother Giuliano de Medici are buried.

This Tour held one of the missing pieces I was wanting in particular - to see Michaelangelo's Chapel - such an amazing, amazing treasure. Elvis was exceptionally resourceful when the holiday lines for Michaelangelo's Chapel turned out to be overwhelming, and he created an adventure in our getting special tickets. Elvis brought the Medici's alive through his Tour of their Palace - their family roots, vision, growth of their whole life, and their deep and vast influence on the development of Florence as he added details, and stories behind the works of art and architecture. He is very inspiring and insightful. I feel like he shared so much of the backstory in the history and art. I could not have gotten this on my own at all !
