What you'll do

Meeting at the entrance of the campsite it will be a short hike or ride to the campsite. I will start a camp fire (fire bans permitting) to make s'mores. As the stars start to appear from the twilight we will tell campfire stories about the constellations and head over to the telescopes to get an up close look at the treasures hidden in the night sky. We will continue to explore the sky on in to the evening.

This is a more adventurous version of my Astronomy Tour requiring driving up (and down in the dark) winding mountain roads and a small 10 min hike. However, this gets us a better location with less light pollution and the ability to have a camp fire. If you are not comfortable with hiking, or driving mountain roads in the dark recommend my usual tour which can be booked here: https://www.airbnb.com/experiences/278946
