My name is Krista and I am your local private guide! I was born and raised here so these National Parks were like my childhood playground. I have a degree in Environmental Studies and have been a professional guide for over four years, in every season and for every age group and ability level. I am versed in Sierra Nevada natural history; from the geologic and hydrologic processes that raised these mountains to the human histories of those who walked these trails before us to the fascinating plants and animals and modern science that we are still learning about today. Safety is a priority; each adventure includes a short safety brief, I always carry a first-aid kit and I am certified in Wilderness First-Aid. See you soon!
