What you'll do

We will begin our trip on train through El Valle de los Ingenios, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1988.
We will visit different places well preserved for centuries, it will be a journey through history, accompanied by country landscapes, farms and old sugar mills. Our first stop will be in the Community of Manaca Iznaga, an architectural and historical relic of the colonial period in Cuba, there is, the hacienda and a watchtower.
Manaca-Iznaga was the cradle and the symbol of the economic power that Trinidad reached thanks to the sugar industry in the 18th and 19th centuries.
Our second stop will be at the "FNTA" Sugar Museum, founded by Americans in 1892, and nationalized by the Revolution in 1960. Its last harvest was in 2004, being from that date paralyzed and preserved, exhibiting old steam locomotives commissioned at that time to move the sugar cane to the mills.
Our last visit will be the Casa Hacienda Guachinango, an old cattle farm of the 18th century, bought by the Cuban state in 1989 to restore it and turn it into a house - museum, the oldest and best preserved of its time.
